Our story

A practice built around people, not appointments.

Rebecca's path to founding OT by the Sea was anything but linear - and that is exactly what makes the practice different. She began her career working with adults at a Level I trauma center, where she learned firsthand what it means to show up for people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. From there she led early intervention programs supporting infants and young children, and later built and led a high school program for students with special needs. She went on to found a practice dedicated to job skills and independent living - helping young adults build the confidence and capabilities to step into the world on their own terms.

When Rebecca moved to Los Angeles in 2022, she saw a gap she could not ignore. Families across West LA were navigating incredibly complex needs - a new mother struggling with infant feeding, a child falling behind in school, an elderly parent trying to stay safely in their home - often without a single trusted team to turn to. OT by the Sea was born from that need.

In the years since, she has built something she is deeply proud of. The practice partners with physicians, psychologists, therapists, and community providers across West LA, and has assembled a team of specialized occupational therapists united by one shared belief: that every person, from a brand new infant to an aging parent, deserves holistic, personalized care in the comfort of their own environment.

Our team

A carefully vetted network of West LA occupational therapists.

OT by the Sea is powered by a carefully vetted network of experienced, licensed occupational therapists across West LA. Each member of our team brings specialized expertise - whether in infant feeding and early development, pediatric sensory processing, school-based therapy, or senior home safety and fall prevention.

We keep our caseloads intentionally small so every family receives consistent, deeply personal care from a therapist who truly knows them.
